A LARGE area of woodland was cordoned off by police after an alleged rape of a teenage girl.
The 16-year-old was reportedly attacked near to a path which runs through Sugarwell Hill off Potternewton Lane, Scott Hall, Leeds, on yesterday (Tues, Aug 24) evening.
The police threw a cordon around the edge of the wooded along Potternewton Lane and also closed off the entrance to the footpath which leads off Potternewton Crescent.
